Was born on April 18, 1981 in Yerevan. In 2003 she graduated from Yerevan State Conservatory and received Diploma with Honors from two departments: Piano playing under Prof. R. Tandilyan and Composition under Prof. R. Sargsyan. As a composer she  won the   First  Prize  and  Gold Medal at the International  Competition  “Juniors  Assembly  of  Arts” in Moscow, First Prize and Gold Medal at the “Amadeus” Armenian-Belgian Composers Competition and Third Prize at the Benjamin Britten Composers Competition in Yerevan. Her music has been performed during the Moscow Autumn XXIV International  Festival; Russia, International  Festival  21st Century Perspectives, Yerevan; Armenia, Dublin Fringe International Festival, Ireland, “5th Contemporary Music Festival”; Milan, Italy. As a music manager Alisa Sargsyan has been awarded a Certificate of “Cultural Policy  and Management” Amsterdam-Maastricht Summer University Course, Certificate with Honorof the “Arts and Culture Management Course” by Cadence Music Centre. She is also an Internship Fellow of the CEC ArtsLink Music Education Program; New York, USA and an Internship student of the Gulliver’s Connect International Program; Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
